For lawn care companies
Post your prices. Homeowners pick you.
Set your price for each lot size once. When a homeowner in your service area describes their yard, your price appears next to other vetted pros with a link to your profile. No signup fee and no lead fees. MowBrokers keeps a commission only on payments that come through the platform, and Stripe pays you out weekly.
- Booked customers, not leads. They have seen your price and chosen you before you get the call.
- Card on file. Tap “Visit done”, note what you did and add a photo. The customer gets a service report and their card is charged automatically.
- Add-ons sell themselves. Customers can add your fertilizer and weed control, aeration, leaf cleanup and shrub trimming from their account, and we send seasonal reminders.
- Your prices, fair comparison. Everyone uses the same terrain and coverage factors.
- Good work ranks higher. Verified customer reviews, fast first calls and few re-service requests lift you in “Best match” results.
- One rule that matters: call new customers within one business day and tap “I called them”. Miss it and the booking moves to another pro.
Licensing in Alabama
Mowing and yard maintenance need no state license: you need a city business license and general liability insurance.
Applying fertilizer, weed control or any pesticide or herbicide for hire requires the Alabama Department of Agriculture & Industries Horticulture Professional Services license in the Ornamental & Turf Pest Control (OTPS) category, with a certified operator. Only pros with OTPS can offer the fertilizer and weed control program on MowBrokers.
Tree and stump removal jobs need the Tree Surgery (TS) category; landscape bed installs need Setting of Landscape Plants (SLP).
